Undercover Shot

****THIS GAME REQUIRES A NINTENDO ZAPPER OR SIMILAR LIGHT GUN PERIFERY****

A Rat is undercover in your crew! Figure out his identity and take him out quickly!

Undercover Shot is a simple 2 player social deduction game that uses one standard controller and one Nintendo Zapper controller.

Player 1 (The Rat) uses the directional buttons on the controller to select a character. Once the game starts, they have to try and blend in with the computer characters, and mimic their behaviors.

Player 2 (The Boss) need to observe all the characters on screen to try and deduce which one is controlled by Player 1.When Player 2 thinks they know who the rat is, then they must shoot that character with the Nintendo Zapper.

If Player 2 hits the right character, then they win! But if Player 2 shoots the wrong character, then Player 1 wins.

(Light gun currently not supported in the browser emulator, but you can download the rom and run it in Mesen, or similar emulator to simulate light gun input with your mouse. You can also play it on a real NES with a Nintendo Zapper!)

WOW! Got this to work by using Mesen. Just go to inputs and set Player 2 as "Zapper". Then you can shoot with your mouse. This is an amazing ByteOff entry!!

Finally got my flasher working so I could try this on a CRT! Awesome stuff, asymmetric multiplayer games are my jam and this ticks all the boxes. My partner loved it too. Top notch first(?) entry!
