Jail the Culprit!

You’re the Sherif in town and your job is to send criminal in jail by matching the evidences in a particular game grid.

This is supposed to be a tricky memory game. You move the magnifier around by using the D pad. You have to pay attention at each question box you “reveal” while pressing the A button. You “progress” by revealing 2 same evidences. If you make a “mistake”, you’ll have to restart over again. Don’t worry though, the evidences don’t switch places at each “mistakes” you make.

You win when you revealed all the grid. You lose after you make 8 “mistakes”.

Good luck.

P.S. In the future, I would like the “magnifier” to move 32 pixels at a time instead of 16. I would also like to flip a 32×32 image instead of 4 16×16 real pictures of evidences instead of evidences A, B , C and D. If both of these concerns could be fixed, It could be a good game to develop in a near future.

EDIT: V0.1:  Magnifier fixed to 32 pixels movements like it should. Full 32×32 pixels images evidences are now implemented. There is now no reason to not developpe this demo in a near future. For the moment, Star Retrievers has still full priority though.

EDIT: V0.2: Clue matches counter variable was not reset to zero when a mistake was made. Thus, making the good game ending appearing prematurely before all 4 matches were made.

Thank you.

An original game! It’s a nice change from platformers or top-down adventures! Great work!
